Fruits of the Valley!

While perhaps not yet as famous on the international wine stage as Napa, Loire, Mosel and Williamette Valleys, our own Carmel Valley is home to several producers of world-class vintages. Producers range in size from tiny, one-person operations such as Otter Cove and Joyce, to mid-size family vintners like Boete', Cima Collina and Georis, to bigger players Talbott, Bernardus and Galente.

Regardless of their size, these Central Coast winemakers have one thing in common: the desire and passion to finesse the fruit grown in Carmel Valley into exquisite wines. Mixed with a rich history, a dash of romance and a lot of good old-fashioned hard work, these traits have resulted in vintages that are quickly and quietly taking center stage at restaurants and in wine cellars everywhere.
